Green Equine was started in January 2008 by Angela Crites, in hopes of reducing Ontario's solid landfilled waste. Angela is a graduate of the Environmental Technology program at Sir Sandford Fleming College in Lindsay, ON. She has taken her love of the environment and horses and combined them to create Green Equine.

Green Equine is a used tack shop, or can be considered a tack thrift shop, where you can find quality used items including tack, apparel, gifts, and accessories.

Green Equines mission is to turn worn-out and beat-up tack and apparel into useable items to reduce the amount of waste that is deposited into our quickly filling landfills.

At Green Equine, we try our best to turn these items into a useable form, whether it be repairing, revamping or completely altering the item all together.

In order for Green Equine to maintain its efforts, we require used, beat-up, broken items that can be altered, and repaired.

We accept tack and apparel of all types and condition. No item will be turned away!
